Why you need the Norwex Mop System
One of Norwex’s most popular items is the Mop System. It is one of the products that we are most known for, and one of the most coveted items in the catalog. You can earn it for free by hosting, get it free in your consultant starter kit or purchase it. However you choose to add it to your home, its a great deal. Here are some reasons why you need the Norwex mop system.
A Silent Vacuum
The mop system is very intuitive to use. The dry pad easily sweeps up dust, dirt and pet hair. Think of it like a silent vacuum. Before Norwex, I had a central vac system. I hate wrapping up the cord so much, that I just left the vacuum out all the time, and pushed it into the laundry room when I wasn’t using it. Needless to say, the hose being out all the time was annoying, but I vacuumed almost daily to keep up with the dog hair and dirt my boys brought in. The dry pad has completely eliminated my need to vacuum my non-carpeted floors. Plus, because it is really low-profile and swivels easily, I can get under things that I couldn’t reach easily with my vacuum (under baseboards, the couch, etc). The pet hair really clings to it, and the dust and dirt are pulled into the pad. When the pad is full, take the rubber brush, and brush everything off into the trash. Viola!
No Bucket of Soapy Water Needed
When you’re ready to wet mop your floor, the process couldn’t be easier. Simply run the wet pad (blue) under water, and wring out. Remove the dry pad from the mop (it is velcro, and will peel off) and stick the wet pad on. No bucket of water, harsh cleaners, or products that will leave a coat on your floors. I find it helpful to mop in a figure 8 pattern instead of back and forth. You’ll pick up anything that may have escaped you with the dry mop, and the results are more thorough. I don’t know about you, but I mop in my socks, and what I love about the Norwex mop is that my socks hardly get wet because the floors dry so quickly. Plus, like our other microfiber, the wet mop pad removes up to 99% of bacteria when following proper care and use. You should rewet the pad about every four minutes, which may seem like a lot….but it’s not. It covers a lot of ground, quickly. I typically mop the first floor of my home (about 900 square feet) without rinsing at all. When finished, rinse well and hang to dry.
The Norwex Mop System Saves Money
I used to use a mop system with disposable pads, I was never really thrilled with how well it cleaned. I am an animal lover, and we have two cats and a dog (plus the household traffic from my husband and boys), I would go through multiple pads everytime I dry mopped, and I always found tumbleweeds after the fact. SO FRUSTRATING. I spent so much money on those pads, and the pads for the wet mop, and the cleaner that went in it (the stuff that made my floors hazy and sticky). When I was at my very first Norwex party, I needed the mop and decided to host a party to earn it free. If I had I known how fantastic it was, and how much money it would save me long term I wouldn’t have waited. It paid for itself in money saved in replacement pads and cleaners in about 5 months. The best part is that nearly three years later, its still going strong!
